Resilient Ancient Architecture: Built in 1904 during the French colonial era at an elevation of 170m above sea level, acting as a "sea eye" guiding vessels through harsh sunny and windy elements.
Spectacular Natural Scenery: From the tower's top balcony, you can take in a panoramic view of the East Sea paired with rocky mountain ranges embracing the coastal cove.
Off-Road Jeep Desert Experience: Thrilling feeling of riding an off-road Jeep at high speed across undulating, sinking sand dunes.
Check-in at Pristine Bai Trang: A beach right at the foot of the mountain with jade-clear water, ideal for swimming and outdoor camping.
Address: Mui Dinh, Phuoc Dinh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province (former Ninh Thuan) (about 40km south of former Phan Rang city center, now Phan Rang Ward).
Stage 1 (Crossing the mini sand desert ~1km): From the parking spot, you need to cross a vast sand hill. Renting an off-road Jeep or tractor to reach Bai Trang beach (approx. 100,000 – 150,000 VND/trip) is recommended to save energy.
Stage 2 (Hiking up the mountain peak ~15 - 20 mins): Walk along a small, winding concrete path from Bai Trang up to the top. Although the slope is steep, it is very cool thanks to sea breezes.
Golden Hours: Hike to the lighthouse from 05:00 – 07:30 (to catch the sunrise) or 15:30 – 17:00 (to avoid harsh sunlight and watch the sunset).
Gear: Wear sports shoes with good grip, bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and bring your own drinking water (no vendor services on top).
Accommodation: The area retains its original wild charm, perfect for self-sufficient tent camping overnight at Bai Trang.
