Many people say Binh Hung Island is tiny and can be fully explored in a flash. Let's discover 24 hours on this "rough gem" for a perfect escape from the city hustle — a place where you are awakened by the sound of waves at Da Trung Beach, filling your empty stomach with lobster on a floating raft, and paddling a SUP to catch the brilliant sunset. Pocket this handbook now to explore Binh Hung fully

🌅 05:30 – Catch the first rays of sunlight at Da Trung Beach

Don't sleep in, wake up very early while the fog hasn't dissipated yet and stroll to Da Trung (Rock Egg) Beach. This place possesses thousands of giant, round, and smooth stones like dinosaur eggs stacked on top of each other.

  • A unique experience: Sit on a large rock, listen to the rocks "breathing" and chuckling as each wave flows over, and watch the sun dye the entire Cam Ranh sky in bright red. This is the peaceful moment that helps you recharge your soul.

🗼 07:30 – Conquer Hon Chut Lighthouse & Have breakfast at the fishing village

Drive to the top of Hon Chut lighthouse – the "magic eye" that is more than 100 years old, silently protecting the sea and sky here. From this position, you will admire the magnificent picture of the ocean with proud ocean liners far offshore. Down the mountain, drop by a small roadside shop of the islanders to enjoy a hot bowl of fish cake noodle soup or a plate of Banh Can with baby squid, fresh from last night's catch.

🏝️ 09:30 – Immerse yourself in the emerald water at Nuoc Ngot Beach & Cay Me Beach

It's time to check-in the "specialty" beaches of Binh Hung by boat or floating raft:

  • Nuoc Ngot (Freshwater) Beach: Where a cool freshwater stream from Nui Chua flows through the fine white sand to blend into the salty sea. The feeling of just finishing a sea bath and taking a few steps to soak in the sweet, icy stream is extremely fascinating.
  • Cay Me Beach: The sea water here is amazingly clear and green, you just need to look down to see the vibrant coral reefs and small fish swimming right beneath your feet.

🦞 12:00 – Lobster feast "right at the tank" on a floating house

Noon is the time to pamper your taste buds on the floating houses bobbing in the middle of the sea. Amidst the windy ocean, a platter of fresh seafood is served:

  • The centerpiece is definitely the legendary Binh Hung Lobster: firm, sweet meat with rich roe, dipped in spicy green chili salt.
  • Sipping a few more sea urchins grilled with fragrant scallion oil and a plate of plain grilled snails is truly unforgettable.

🛶 15:30 – Paddle a SUP to watch the sunset dyeing Bai Chuoi in red When the harsh sun begins to cool down, move to Bai Chuoi (Banana Beach). This is the perfect coordinate for you to relax your body on SUP boards, leisurely paddle out to the middle of the bay and watch the sunset falling, dyeing a romantic orange-yellow color on the vast sea surface.

17:30 – Board the boat back to the mainland, closing the 24-hour memorable journey

When the lights on the floating houses begin to flicker, it's also time for us to board the boat back to the mainland, ending 24 hours of being a true "islander". Binh Hung does not have luxurious services, but its rusticity, wildness, and original sea flavor here will surely linger in your mind forever.

The island is very clean and wild, when we travel, remember to "leave nothing but footprints" to protect the emerald green color of this island!
