1. Essential Information for Visitors

• Address: Group 14, Duong De, Vinh Hoa Ward (Northern Nha Trang), Khanh Hoa Province.

• Directions: From the city center, cross Tran Phu Bridge, follow Pham Van Dong Blvd, then turn into Nguyen Du Street. Simply follow the directional signs along the road to reach the pagoda gates.

• Entrance Fee: The pagoda welcomes all visitors and Buddhists free of charge.

• Opening Hours:

  • Garden Area: Daily until 6:00 PM.

  • Main Hall: Open for worship until 8:00 PM.

• 2.1. A 20-Year Journey of Devotion: Da Bao Pagoda is closely linked to the extraordinary willpower of Ven. Thich Giac Mai. Over two decades ago, the monk chose this high mountain as a place for spiritual cultivation. With primitive tools and a simple lifestyle, he personally cleared the land and built the road up the mountain to establish the pagoda we see today.

• 2.2. Sophisticated Architecture Amidst Nature: Every corner of the pagoda reflects meticulous craftsmanship:

  • The Three-Entrance Gate: The first highlight is the Hoa Khai - Tu Bi - Tri Tue (Blossom - Compassion - Wisdom) gate, intricately carved with Buddhist philosophy.

  • Tue Giac Garden: A lush green space featuring a central pond and an ancient hexagonal pavilion. This is where visitors find absolute tranquility and the famous "million-dollar view" of the ocean.

3. Important Notes for Visitors

• Attire: Choose modest and polite clothing. Avoid short or revealing outfits to respect the sanctity of the pagoda.

• Maintain Order: Walk softly, speak quietly, and do not litter within the premises.

• Transportation Safety: The road up the mountain is quite steep with many curves; ensure your vehicle is in good condition and drive carefully.
